The National Muslim Women In the Arts (NMWIA) is a
volunteer support group for Muslim women artists in any media. MWIAs main
objectives are to enhance and promote high quality art and its marketing, to
educate the general public about the creativity and talents of Muslim women
artists, and to mentor/guide Muslim teenage girls towards Islamic
arts.
Membership in MWIA support group is open to all
Muslim women artists who are interested in sharing their artistic skills with
others through workshops, demonstrations, lectures and exhibits. Women
artists who are homebound, teenagers, young adult amateurs, teachers of art are
especially invited to join this group.
